COMEY, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that JUJU JIANG, 24, of Flushing, New York, pled guilty in federal Court in Manhattan yesterday to a five-count Information relating to computer fraud and software piracy. In pleading guilty to computer damage, JIANG admitted that, between February 14, 2001, and December 20, 2002, without the permission of Kinko's Inc. ("Kinko's"), he installed special keylogging software on computer terminals located at Kinko's stores throughout Manhattan to surreptitiously record keystroking activity on those computers, and collect computer usernames and passwords of Kinko's customers.

Scott announced today that ADIL YAHYA ZAKARIA SHAKOUR, 19, of Los Angeles, California, was sentenced by Chief Judge David F. Levi to one year and one day in federal prison, a three year term of supervised release, and a $200 special assessment. SHAKOUR was also ordered to pay $88,253.47 in restitution. As part of his sentence, the court imposed special conditions restricting his computer use during his supervised release following his release from federal prison. The defendant previously admitted defacing Air Force web site, hacking into three other sites and obtaining and using stolen credit card information
Three Californians Indicted in Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud and Identity Theft , Posted: May 12, 2003 09:00 EST (1400 GMT)SACRAMENTO - As part of a continuing series of prosecutions involving financial institution insiders and others using bank computers to obtain and use customer account information for fraud transactions, United States Attorney McGregor W. Scott announced that DORIAN PATRICK THOMAS, 27, DARYEN CRAIG SIMMONS, 38, and DAVID RAPHEL KING, 24, all of Sacramento, were indicted Thursday, May 8, 2003 on conspiracy, bank fraud, and identity theft charges. The twenty-two count indictment alleges that the conspiracy began not later than June 2002 and has continued to the present. The investigation is ongoing.
